Angola Expedition 2025 Part 1

In March 2025 three vehicles each made their own way through Namibia to meet at Ruacana in Namibia, to start an epic adventure into Angola. The timing in the middle of the wet season was not the best and should bring some problems later on.

The Pelotau expedition support vehicle, a Land Cruiser 79, left South Africa one month earlier, travelling along the Namibian coastline and interior, to come into Ruacana from Epupa Falls.

Two of our clients and friends flew into Windhuk from Germany and spent some days in Etoscha NP, unfortunately not having much luck with the wildlife because of rain and were therefore keen to get into Angola.

Two of our clients and friends took a rental 4×4 in Botswana and came along the Caprivi strip after doing some superb game drives in Moremi Game Reserve. Michael, our “picture man” did a great job, shooting all the photos and videos and creating this entertaining video.
